I’m Changing Things Up – More Value, Just for You! 💕
Hey Mama & Papa,
I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make this newsletter even more useful for you. Parenting is hard, and I want to give you something that’s not just informative but actually helps you in real life.
So starting today, I’m switching things up! 🎉
Each newsletter will now have:
✅ 3 real-life parent stories (so you know you’re not alone!)
✅ 2 expert tips (straight from my clinic to you)
✅ 1 quick takeaway (bite-sized advice you can remember in a second)
No fluff, just practical, paediatrician-approved insights to help you raise happy, healthy little ones. Let’s start with something that stresses so many parents out—diaper rashes!
👶 3 Real-Life Stories (Because You’re Not Alone!)
💡 “Why is this rash not going away?!” – A worried mama came in because her baby’s rash kept returning, even after frequent diaper changes. Turns out, it was excess moisture causing irritation! We switched to a more absorbent diaper and added extra drying time before reapplying. Rash = gone!
💡 “I thought wipes were supposed to help?” – Another parent was using scented wipes without realizing they were irritating her baby’s skin. We switched to fragrance-free, alcohol-free wipes and added a simple barrier cream. The redness faded in days!
💡 “It’s just a diaper rash... right?” – A concerned dad assumed his baby’s rash was the usual kind, but it actually turned out to be a yeast infection (red, raised bumps that wouldn’t go away). With a quick diagnosis and the right antifungal cream, his baby’s bum was happy again!
✍️ 2 Quick Paediatrician-Approved Tips
✔️ Let that bum breathe! Give your baby at least 15-30 minutes of diaper-free time daily. Airflow is magic for healing.
✔️ Thick is best! Use a thick barrier cream (like zinc oxide or petroleum jelly). Lotions and thin creams won’t protect as well.
